Description

This bundle comprises six exquisite signature mugs designed by artist Mario Bruno. The designs feature the colors and emblems of the Palio di Siena Contrada as mentioned in the product title.

The “Palio di Siena” is a reenactment of a medieval horse race that occurs twice a year during the summer season in the beautiful city of Siena, located in the stunning Tuscany region.
The race’s name ‘Palio’ comes from the Italian word for ‘banner’. The richly decorated Palio Banner is awarded to the winning ‘Contrada’ (District) of the race.
Seventeen Contrade compete in the Palio twice a year in July and August, each with its insignia. We sell porcelain coffee mugs printed in high resolution featuring all seventeen Contrade insignias.
